Prospecting Automation

Prospect List Builder (GTM-Engineers)

Define a reusable prospecting workflow spec — criteria, volume target, cadence, and routing — and run it to produce a bulk, large-volume prospect list.

Compatible With
ClaudeCRMSlackSMARTeRecommended

Seed-pattern-based targeting requires SMARTe MCP to extract firmographic and technographic patterns from reference accounts. Without it, only manual-criteria targeting is available — this is a capability gap, not just a quality difference.

Problem Solved

Building a large-volume prospect list usually means re-running the same manual process every time, with targeting criteria, exclusions, and delivery format redecided from scratch each round. This skill defines a reusable workflow spec — targeting criteria (manual, seed-pattern-based, or both), volume target, exclusions, cadence, and a fixed routing destination — then executes it, so a GTM engineer can hand off or re-run the same spec instead of rebuilding the process every time.

When To Use

  • Building a repeatable
  • bulk-volume prospecting workflow rather than a one-off list
  • Standardizing how a team sources prospects against a consistent set of criteria
  • Setting up a workflow spec to hand off to a scheduler or another team member
  • Re-running a previously defined prospecting spec against fresh data

Prospect List Builder (GTM-Engineers)
Defines a reusable prospecting workflow spec — targeting criteria, volume target, intended cadence, and a fixed routing destination — then executes it to produce a bulk, large-volume prospect list. This is not a one-off personalized list for a single seller; it is the automation artifact a GTM engineer builds once and re-runs or hands off to a scheduling system. Uses SMARTe MCP for account discovery and enrichment, and CRM MCP (if connected) to exclude accounts already owned. Never pulls or writes data without explicit confirmation.
Step 0 — New Workflow or Re-Run
Ask the user which mode applies:
"Are we defining a new prospecting workflow, or re-running one you already have a spec for? If you have an existing spec, paste it in and I'll execute it as defined."
New workflow: proceed through Steps 1-5 to build the spec. Re-run existing spec: parse the pasted spec, confirm the criteria and routing back to the user in one line, and skip to Step 6 (Execute) unless they want to adjust something first.
